There was quite a bit of dirt on the circuit, especially at the edge right around where the ctrl key is. Tl dw: opened up the keyboard and cleaned between the membranes. I have already tried: Updating windows, error checking, reinstalling keyboard drivers, running rdpclicp.exe, but I think some of those were fixes for when copy paste in general doesn't work, I seem to only have a problem with the paste part, or rather the crtl+v part, I can paste via the menu.
It seems like something is blocking just that shortcut, as both v and ctrl work independently. ctrl+v not working in premiere pro is quite the problem. Alt+v for example will show up as well.Īny idea how to fix this? I tried looking up my word settings just to see if the combination is working and it's not! So when I go into "customize shortcuts" in word, then click into "Press new shortcut key" ctrl+v won't show up, but ctrl+c will! That's how I found out v is the problematic one, first I thought they both wouldnt work. Ctrl-C / Ctrl-V are showing inconsistent behaviour while editing document in. Just found another one.ctrl+z for undo and redo is not working either. It's just ctrl+v, c and a are working fine for example.
Hey guys, I have this super strange problem where I can't use ctrl+v to paste things - anywhere, neither files nor in Word or wherever.
